what year did this cut come out? leo sayer's "you make me feel like dancing" a bouncy breezy dance cut that was his best record,huh? did it come out around the same period as the bee gees: "jive talkin'? charles "the 70's wasn't so bad..." | |

i'll take a guess and say that this one was... 1976. but d-eye and finess are the gurus on stuff like this for sure. 
coincidentally, this is the song that jimmy fallon is imitating in his track "idiot boyfriend". yeah, i love the feel of this track too... makes me remember a better time... $.02. --gm-- i....feel.... cold as a razorblade, tight as a tourniquet, dry as a funeral drum...... | |

I saw Leo Sayer @ the Marquee aftershow last year. His hair is so bad, someone whould tell him. 
His hair has not changed and when he walked past me almost took a layer offa my face!!!  | |

"You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" (1976) is da jam! I love this one.But,for the most part,I don't really like any other songs from Leo Sayer.I find his music to be bland.He should have came up with more smooth,funky jams like "You Make Me...". | |
