She's the best! She's the only artist I can think of who's had a perfect career. She hasn't made one mistake yet. And she's better than ever. Check her out!

I Love Björk. If you don't own anything by her, I'd suggest you buy every and anything!!! You could opt for her Greatest Hits as a starter, but, you'd truly be missing out on a lot of great songs. She is brilliant. I was just watching her video collection last night. Do yourself a favour and run to the record store and stock up on Björk! You won't regret it!!! wink

Bjork's music is the most purely artistic creation I can envision. She has absolutely no agenda and no pretensions. Every album is just 100% hers and crafted with intricate detail and immense care. Enjoy!

supposedly towards the end of this year...but then, vaspertine was domestique and was supposed to be released a whole year prior to its eventual name change and release...

oh oh oh...and i recommend checking out www.bjork.com. there is a snippet of an interview on the homepage...very intersesting comments about bootlegs...

why is that that bjork is everything, provides everything, creates everything that i wish prince would? she rocks!!!

In 1996, a most amazing friend introduced me to Bjork. It was life changing ~ both in the way I experienced music and in the path I would take from that time on. She is simply the most passionate, creative and incredible artist imaginable. Listen with an open mind ~ let her music take you across the Universe. Then, after you have listened and totally love and appreciate her, watch Dancer In The Dark. You will be astounded.

ohh...we all have. time and time again...that was the most interesting part of the last concert i went to...there was this collective feeling of understanding and appreciation for each other...

bjork in an interview said she made Dancer in The Dark because Selma was such an introvert. She explained that she too was introverted and she wanted others, expecially her fans who were, to understand they arent alone...

Any of them. They're all good. But I'd recommend either starting with the first or the newest.

Debut or Vespertine. And work your way in the other direction.

Actually, I would say start with the Sugarcubes stuff. "It's-it" is a great remix album and "Stick around for joy" is good

I love each of her album's, especially Debut. If you can, you should get her Volumen video compilation. It's the best collection of videos by any artist and is a greatest hits collection at the same time. You can't lose!!
