He´s got this most unique voice.
Marvin Gaye & Dinah Washington among others
have named him as a major influence
A friend of mine saw him live in Denmark
& said he was fantastic.

Falling in love is wonderful from 1963
Although his voice on later recordings like
"Nothing compares 2 U" is not as strong & vital
as in his younger years the originality of his voice
has not dissapeared.I dig his version ofthe song.
