"Keep on to the post-office , Don't Stop 'til u get enuff"

My brother used to think that the nursery-rhyme: "Row, row, Row your boat" ended "life's a butter dream" (instead of "life is but a dream")

BTW, I also used 2 think the lyric from WDC was "2-fold"

How long did it take me 2 work out the line from Kiss:
"Ain't no particular sign, I'm mo' compatible with". I used 2 just make up snoinsense to sing along, as I did for:

"soy un perdidor" from Beck's "Loser"
"We've never been able to pull off a funk number"

"That's becuase we're soulless auttomatons"

ok in Uptown

(I have had this argument with people for 20 years I swear.)

We all know he is talking about a girl from the very beginning of the song right? so when he says

"she even made love to me ooh best head I ever had"

why oh why oh why do people insist that he is saying

"he even made love to me ooh best head I ever had"

I have argued with people for years on that one explaining that in the context of the song it is a "she" even though you think you hear "he"

disbelief

Steely Dan - 'I Got The News'.

Actual lyric: "How was I to know about the warm soulful secret you'd been keeping for years..."

What I thought: "How was I to know about the warm salty semen you'd been keeping for years..."

err

***On the 1981 Rick James hit "Give It To Me Baby",I thought he was singing..."I'll make you hot love until you've have enough"...lol...he's really saying "I'll make you HOLLER until you've had enough"

***On the 1979 Donna Summer hit" Hot Stuff",I actually thought she was singing ..."Wanna bring a WOMAN back home" when in reality, she is singing..."wanna bring a WILD MAN back home...lol
