Martika Are there any Martika fans here??
I think her two albums have some of the greatest pop music ever recorded, on them. Her first was produced by Michael Jay and is jammed with pop gems and hooks ('More than you know', 'Cross my heart', 'I feel the earth move', 'Water', 'Toy Soldiers') Her second was produced by Prince. I love the title song 'Martika's Kitchen'. 'Love..thy will be done' was a worldwide hit, and was incorporated into 'Say, what you want' by Texas. There are other great songs, like 'Spirit' (Musical cousin of 'Vogue'!) and 'Coloured Kisses' ******************************************** | |

I don't think she was dropped by her record company or anything. I think she just lost interest.

:LOL: I just listened to her cds. I like Martika  They are really good albums. Not sure if you can still find it, but she has an ep of her songs in Spanish. If you're interested. | |
