Songs you Love to hear in the clubs

the songs that get u hyped, that make u dance like no other song, that let u party like it's 2099!
& also songs that u would LOVE 2 hear in a club but never do.
mine r in the urban area,since i frequent RnB clubs. (i like some dance/techno,but i can't dance 2 it)

these r the songs i hear in clubs & LOVE 2 dance 2:

  • MJ - "Billie Jean" (i do the whole MJ routine he does live also...what can i say,i love 2 entertain! dancing jig )
  • Timberlake - "Like I Love You"
  • DMX - "Up In Here"
  • Ja & B Brown - "Thug Lovin'" (i know i know...but this cut gets me happy.& it's Bobby's hook that gets me hype most of all)
  • Craig David - "what's your flava?"
  • MJ - "You Rock My World"
  • Jagged Edge - "Let's Get Married" (RunDMC mix...i dance like a muthafucka 2 this cut)
  • Sir Mix-A-Lot - "Baby Got Back"
  • Crooklyn Clan & Faith Evans - "Love Like This" (Remix... gets the crowd hyped!)
  • Montell Jordan - "This Is How We Do It"
  • salt'n'pepa - "Push It"
  • Disco Montego - "U Talkin' To Me?"
most of the stuff played here is just mainstream i know, but that's what is played.

songs i WOULD LOVE 2 hear & dance 2,but r never do in clubs here:

  • Prince - "Gett Off" (my fave jam,...on saturday nite, since it's my birthday,im'a take a disc with this cut on it & c if the Dj will play it 4 me,just cuz!)
  • Ginuwine - "hell yeah"
  • MJ - "In The Closet" (i can't believe!... that this never gets played in clubs)
  • Prince - "18&Over"
  • Chaka Demus & Pliers - "Murder She Wrote"
  • Prince - "Come On"
  • JC Chasez - "Blowin Me Up" (i'm surprised this hasn't hit down under yet, that part in the bridge with the cheerleader-esque part would get a crowd nuts!)
  • Babyface - "There She Goes"
  • Montell Jordan & LL Cool J - "Get It On Tonite"
  • Prince - "Continental"
  • Prince - "Thieves In the temple" (Xtended)
  • Prince - "Sexy MF"
  • The Time - "Jungle Love"
  • Janet - "If"
  • Johnny Gill - "Rub U The Right Way" (& a shitload more NewJackSwing)
  • Nuttin' Nyce - "Down For Whatever"
  • MJ - "Jam"
  • MJ - "Wannabe Startin' Somethin'"
  • Michael Jackson - You Rock My World (DJ Sandstorm Rock Remix) (the original always gets played)
  • MJ - "Scream"
  • JazzyJeff&TheFreshPrince - "I'm looking for the one to be with me"

... & many many many more...

Since this is a Prince forum, I would like to say that I really enjoy when P control is played, cause that song hits hard on some good equipment.smile

When I go to the club, I usually prefer dancing on the non-mainstream/2nd dancefloor because that's where all the good music is, but...

When I'm in the club:

Green Velvet - La La Land
Pepper Mashay - Dive In The Pool
The MD X-spress - God Made Me Phunky
Masters at Work - The Ha Dance (Cajjmere Wray Mix)
Koffee Brown - After Party
Zac Infinity - Ditch The Bitch
Diana Ross - Love Hangover
KRS-One - Step Into A World (Rapture's Delight)
Adonis - No Way Back
K-OS - Superstarr Pt. Zero
Didn't I Break You Up!

Songs I would love to hear in the club:

Tori Fixx - Take Care Of U & Pass The Tenda (basically any song by Tori Fixx)
Richard X & Kelis - Finest Dreams
Q-Fam - Dirty Dirty
Da Silva - Cinnamon Girl
Backroom Matches - Stupid Rights
Amel Larrieux - Bravebird
Grand Buffett - Candy Bars
Alana Davis - Bye Bye

you have not heard burn by nine inch nails until youve heard it in a club with a good system.
Keep your headphones on.

back in the day there was a remix of tori amos' professional widow...it stillgets spun here and there and i always loved it. i'm not a big house music fan but tat one does it to me. also, any janet club mix is great! but my personal favorites are always played at britpop nites and "sorted" parties...smiths, stone roses, blur, pulp...there are just so many!
