Also on SEptember 16th they are set to release their first DVD called Greatest Hits it will be a 2discset with alternate versions of their videos, including the long forgotten video for Burning the Ground. Duran will also be adding some dates in the US later this summer and early fall, probably going to NYC soon too.The Cd not yet titled is set for release early 2004 and the tour will continue all through next year, DURAN DURAN have returned.

Duran Duran is the band that inspired me to create music, but I only really got into them in 86. Of course, by that time, Roger was gone as well as Andy. Nick and Simon were my main inspirations anyway, so I stuck with Duran all this time. I'm so happy that they are back. It's exciting to hear live versions of classics like Careless Memories with all five original members and they sound better than ever!

I have been into them since the beginning, but i really Loved the Later years more, things from 1988 on, not to say i disliked early stuff, I just enjoyed the diversity of the later material. I think the POP TRASH cd is my favorite.

I know what you mean. I really dig Notorious and Liberty... and Big Thing. And of course Medazzaland... but for some reason, I have a real soft spot for their first album, and I absolutely ADORE Arcadia!

Hell yeah! Me too. Nice to know there were a few that stayed with them. Seven and the Ragged Tiger was the first tape I ever purchased. They are one of the reasons I started playing music.
