Santana discusses his next two albums

Interesting article on Carlos Santana, who performs two concerts in my area this weekend. He discusses his next album, tiled 'Hymns'.It's an instrumental CD that was recorded with members of his band. After that,he plans to record an album "with seven men and seven women, possibly including Whitney Houston and Tina Turner".

Thanks for this news Davideye. I love Carlos. My hubby and I saw him a few weeks ago when he was in Toronto. It was just our second time. He is great and we can't wait to see him again. Hearing about new music from him makes us happy music

Santana used to be good His last 2 albums were shit. Santana should play with Paco de Luccia and not with fuckin toni braxton.

I think Carlos is now going back to "non-commercial" projects. His upcoming CD 'Hymns' is an entirely instrumental album recorded with his band, and not alot of chart-topping pop stars.I'd like to see him eventually make a blues album, something he has talked about doing.Could you imagine a blues album recorded with Eric Clapton?
