Medina is probably looking for another hot Latina client to replace Jennifer Lopez. Mayte Garcia should call this guy. She needs major help from somebody who can get her hooked up with the right songwriters and producers.

Mayte has the potential to be as big a star in the music industry as Jennifer Lopez. Mayte has about the same amount of singing talent as J Lo. Plus Mayte is younger and prettier than J Lo.

Well, they both need to be shot out of a cannon into space anyway.

I mean, I'm sure there are a LOT of other Latina women out there that are just as young and pretty as Mayte, but that have much more talent than her or Jennifer Lopez. By making a few phone calls, Mayte could get tickets to industry events or passes to private industry parties, where she can mingle with the movers and shakers of the industry. Somebody who has zero connections is going to have to work harder to get noticed.

In show business, it's not about who has the most talent. It's about meeting the right people and getting the right breaks. Nobody ever makes it on their own. Everyone has to have someone who is willing to help them out. Prince needed several people to help him out and give him the right breaks when he was starting out.

Benny Medina used to work closely with Prince.In 1991,he was overseeing the day-to-day operations at Paisley Park Records.I recall him telling Billboard "We want to make Prince the Berry Gordy of the 90s".So,Medina was commissioned by Warner Bros. to make Paisley Park a top record label.
