anyone into this guy? he's really groovy and he bigs up P on his website.
i just got a copy of the new cd, Everyone Deserves Music, and it's good. Stay Human was better but the new one is a grower.

I really LOVED Stay Human, a truly great album, inspired, which covers a lot of ground musically speaking and is filled with a few obvious hits. How would you define the new one compared to Stay Human ? What does it sound like ?

the new one has been received very poorly by the critics, I haven't heard it, not sure if I want to. He really made only one excellent album which was Home!

well he has stripped down the hip-hop vibe and gone for a pop/jangly rock vibe. kinda hootie and the blowfish (did i just say that) but of course a bit more funky. no where as boring and dry as hootie and the blowfish. i guess he wants to make some cash so he's come up with some straighter songs.
there's also some nice old school Al Green/Memphis touched on there. i didn't like Stay Human either but now i LOVE it! maybe this one will grow on me.
