Dream Soldier is the name of the latest Des'ree CD.

Right now it is only available as a UK release, but you can probably find the import at Tower Records.

Des'ree is a phenomenal singer/songwriter probably best known for "You Gotta Be" (actually one of my LEAST favorite songs by her). Her first album, Mind Adventures, was probably one of the first "alternative soul" albums ever made. Fans, from back in the day, might also remember the much talked about summer tour with her and Seal.

Des'ree took silent for a moment after her last album "Life". While critically praised, the joint didn't do that well in the US. Hence the new album's UK only release.

The new album is, again, full of honesty and positivity and of course that beautiful voice.

Love Des!! So many great tracks from her: "Crazy Maze", "Strong Enough", "Herald The Day", "Trip On Love", "Why Should I Love You", "Darwin's Star", "Mind Adventures", "Stand On MY Own Ground"...would LOVE to see her live. Are there any live tracks floating around?

Also, the new album IS available in the US at Borders Bodksellers...at least they had plenty of them there yesterday. Plan to pick it up this weekend!
