Is is new album any good. I was becoming obsessed with him after hearing Mechanical Animals and the Last Tour On Earth cd. Then HolyWood came out and it was a bit "blah" to me. I've been teetering on pickin up the new one. WHat do you think of it so far?

I´d say it´s more like Holy Wood than Mechanical Animals. No standout songs but half-decent rock throughout. It seems like he is starting to run out of musical ideas. He can still come up with catchy choruses but that´s about it. It must also be getting hard for him to reinvent himself style-wise by now. He´s tried basically everything already (everything "evil" that is).

I can't stand his sort of music, but I admit that when I see his videos I am drawn to them. All the MM videos I've ever seen are very well done. I usually watch with my mouth hanging open. I really can't get into his music, but I do like his videos. He knows how to make you notice him.

I'm still deciding if it's better than MA---definitely much better than holywood.
Best metal out there...

Hey! I just posted just this very thing on the other MM thread. Weird. But my thoughts exactly!
