Beck blew me away Saturday night! Gotta say that he's my new favorite performer now...sorry Prince! I had horrible seats but ended up getting in the second row. If he comes to your town make sure you get tickets...he blew my ass away!

I like the song "Hollywood", but I'm just afraid I'm going to get tired of it now that she's releasing it as a single. I think my favorite is the next song...I think it's called Stupid or something to that effect??? I'm terrible with song names. It's a good album though, I'm happy with it. | |

You're referring to the song "I'm So Stupid"
It'll be interesting to see how well "Hollywood" does as a single.It's certainly the most radio-friendly song on the CD. | |

Wow, that sounds like a great show Carrie! I once caught a concert on MTV by accident and I was VERY impressed with him. He had a great fallsetto and sang that song, I think it's called Debra? I wanna get with you... and your sister... Something like that. I need to get that cd. | |

The CD is called "Midnight Vultures" not my favorite but it's definitely worth picking up. I like "Odelay" the best...but that's just me. He didn't play "Debra" but "Get Real Paid" made up for it, it was incredible live. | |

great to hear, carrielee!! i got tickets to see him in columbus next wednesday...i'm kinda (ok, very) miffed b/c i bought tix during the beck.com pre-sale, but for some reason all of the tickets sold for this concert are general admission..even though they have seating charts online. weird.
i'm gonna do like you...get some liquid courage and force my way up there. i haven't seen beck in...almost EIGHT MONTHS?? unacceptable

Blueangel I got tickets at the last minute and I sat next to a guy who bought presale tix  So you'll luck out better if it's general admission. Whenever I go to a GA show I just make sure I"m off to the side in case the crowd gets too rough. Have a GREAT time!!! He danced so much, it was fucking awesome! | |
