She´s quite famous in Germany and yes, her album "mamami" is nice but I don´t own it.

Yes, she's alright. Does some really honest old school soul music with good lyrics. Check it out if you can.

Another track that is really great is the track "Mit Dir" by german Hip Hop act "Freundeskreis" (=circle of friends). Joy Denalane used to be a backing singer there and later married Max, the singer of the band. "Mit Dir" (=With You) is a great love-duet between the two.
