MJ should let Remy Shand produce his next album, and let Jamiroquai contribute about three tracks. What do you guys think? It would be better than having MJ work with all these "trendy",lame R&B producers that he usually works with these days.

Nah, Michael needs to let Quincy back on the block... nod

There's only one problem...Quincy is in his 70s and he doesn't really produce anymore. In fact,he seems to have left the music biz altogether.

From your lips to Michael's ears. Would also like to see him work with Rapael Saadiq.

That would make for an interesting album indeed!

I saw a recent picture of him, and man, I kinda feel sad about him. What happened to this guy? I mean. He was looking good since he was born until BLood's on the dance floor, but suddenly everything started going downhill, but now he is looking scary. And I downloaded his new song. Xscape or seomething like it, and it's VERY boring.
Where is the guy who composed masterpieces like Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Give into me, Dont stop til you get enough, and sang those soulfull ballads like no one else could?

I'm just angry with MJ, for several reasons. He has destroyed his appearance beyond any reasonable justification. I don't care what Joe said about his nose or what kind of skin condition he has, completely bleaching one's self and destroying one's facial features just doesn't make sense.

He has also regressed artistically and as an entertainer.
He's doing the same moves he did in 1984.

He continues behavior around children that at least appears to be inappropriate. Tell me his interaction with his kids and with the other kids didn't give you chills.

As he proved with "Butterflies," he can make a great song when he wants to. But he's too out there for me.

Yup... he was supposed to testify in a deposition here in Indy today, but he became ill beforehand. The rumor is that he's at Methodist Hospital, the roof of which I can see from my bedroom window.

i dont give a fuck what he looks like.

Xscape is slammin & beats any of the uptempo stuff on INVINCIBLE by a mile.

im sick of hearing about him...in the sense of being 'weird' or this & that...

i just want new music...4 him 2 b happy & maybe even MOONWLAKER or GHOSTS on dvd

MJ sed in a GetMusic.com chat a couple of years ago that Ghosts will b on DVD... but who knows what happened 2 those plans.

as4 R Kelly producing his music...
he doesnt need R Kelly or anyone else really... altho anything he has done with Teddy Riley is fuckin GOLD!!!

ive heard alot from Chocolate factory & i dont hear ANYTHING special.

I said above, the version of Xscape that is available is a demo, just like the dangerous demo which sounds vastly different to the finished song, but sounds like another polished song altogether.

Then maybe I was being too presumptuous, but seeing a grown man holding hands and cooing to an underage child who is not related to him kinda bothers me. Admittedly, that's just me.

Yeah, it's just you. If that "bothers" anyone it says more about their own minds than the actual situation that is bothering them.

If you say so, although as Obi-Wan says, the truths that we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.

Maybe lol But after that documentary I didn't even have to bring up the subject or argue a case with some people I knew. There was a lot of positive feedback from my family and workmates. I understand the original UK edit of it is quite different from the ABC infested American broadcast.

I hear you. I am not in a position to compare the BBC/ABC broadcasts, the debates I've had about the ABC broadcast have been decidedly mixed. Many people saw no problems with MJ's behavior, many others thought he was very inappropriate, and some said, "that' just the way MJ is" amd expressed no clear opinion.

Now THAT's scientific polling!!!

Invincible was a great ballad album. Demo or not, what I found interesting about "Xscape" is that it was funkier and more engaging than most of the uptempo material that made the final cut on Invincible.

This is weird, because I read a lot of reviews of the album, and each one came from people who thought that their own opinion was the major authority and the be and end all of the quality of the album. However, almost all reviews coming from Europe dismissed the slow jams as mushy crap, and praised the uptempos. The reviews from the US did the exact opposite. Never have I seen an album divide almost every individual so completely on each and every song.

Nuthin' wrong with being a freak ("Some people can do what they like"... ), the only problem is Invincible just doesnt sound right. Even History sounded like an MJ album... If MJ put out a killer album that would have cleared him of all negative connotation in my mind. Heaven Can Wait, Butterflies, U Rock My World, and Whatever Happens were all great songs IMHO... But the album is just too long, and stuff like "Cry" (go away R Kelly) and "The Lost Children" are cliched and boring..
Personally . I think we are all Boring with No Lives cause all we do is talk about Prince,Criticize and Gossip. I need a Horny Man is what I Need and probably so do most of yas. We are Sexually Frustrated what we R... Amen..!!! - zelaire
