You know... when Prince did Yo Mister with Patti, I thought it was the closest ANYONE ever came to giving her a Labelle-esque jam as far as the funk is concerned.

I've heard a choir do "What Can I Do" before and I loved it, too. Definitely a classic. I Always get a native american feel when i hear it... like i wanna put my hand over my mouth and smokum peace pipe!

Now don't get me started on some Labelle thread. Cause then I gotz ta get into "You Turn Me On" and "Isn't It A Shame" etc etc.

YES IT IS!!! I LOVE this cut! LaBelle's harmonies were so tight! I used to wish that En Vogue would cover this song, or any Labelle joint for that matter just so their harmonizing could get a REAL workout.

I'm trying to think of three more ladies who, together, could rework a LaBelle cut (besides, Pink, Maya, and Christina).
