No, I do like Elton too.
I don't know if I have 10 favorites but here are the ones I like: Harmony Benny & the Jets Daniel Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Philadelphia Freedom Someone Saved My Life Tonight Don't Go Breakin' My Heart (w/Kiki Dee) Candle in the Wind That's Why They Call it the Blues That's 9! Geez, I was pretty close! I remember as a pre-teen, staying up late one Friday Night to watch The Midnight Special then afterwards, seeing this special about Elton John. It talked a lot about his partnership with Bernie Taupin and was a really interesting piece on the man and his music. It went very deep into all the facets of Elton John, career wise and the private side. I was especially intrigued by the stuff focusing on how he approached songwriting. After seeing that show, it really made me a fan of his. I remember trying to tell my mother about it the next day but she was less than enthused!

Wow - I had no idea this would get so many responses. My parents are huge fans and go to see him every year so I've pretty much grown up listening to Elton although I don't own any of his stuff myself...
My baby sister was named after "Little Jeannie"!!
