I know a lot of you don't care who wins the American Idol competition but I was planning to vote for Ruben.

It seems strange that Amazon already has a cd single for pre order (available June 3) for Clay Aiken, a la Kelly Clarkson

Is there any reason to vote? Has the winner already been chosen?

I'm sure the winner will have a brand new song released but that just seems so fishy.

The winner hasn't been picked yet, but I am voting for Ruben as well. He is sooo much better than Clay!

Rumor has it that Clay has already been signed for a record deal. Not sure if that is true, but it must be, if he already has a CD coming out.

my link doesn't work - just do a search on Amazon for Clay Aiken and then for Ruben Studdard - both have singles coming out June 3rd.

Neither Clay or Ruben is really an "American Idol." An "Idol is somebody who has charisma, something special that draws people to them.

Y'all know that Ruben is too fat and Clay is too geeky to be idols.

Clay has been #1 all day, Ruben has been steadily climbing the list, moving from #57 this morning to #36 now. I'm expecting Ruben to eventually move up to challenge Clay at #1 on the list.

if the sales on Amazon are any indication, it's going to be a landslide tonight. Clay has been locked at #1, while Ruben actually dropped from #36 to #38 overnight.
