Arcadia - Election Day Wild kind of look to the day,
opening eyes impale neon flickers She moon she turning away, the city's her slave, he's cheating his mistress She's moody and grey, she's mean and she's restless So restless... so restless indeed All over you as they say rumours or rivals yell at the strike force Hi guys, by the way, are you aware you're being illegal It's making your savior behaviour look evil 'scuse my timing but say, how d'you fit in with this flim, flam and judy Maximum big suprise your smile is something new I pull my shirt off and pray, we're sacred and bound to suffer the heatwave Pull my shirt off and pray we're coming up on re-election day Stretching my love down the way To your invitation stretching my body Use your intuitive play cause maybe we have more playtime than money Maximum big suprise she knows something new I pull my shirt off and pray, I'm saving myself to suffer the heatwave Pull my shirt off and pray we're coming up on re-election day By roads and backways a lover's chance down a wind Cut open murmurs and sounds be calm hands on skin Carry further oh...entangled strands all sing Saving some time to slip away we could dance oh.. Shouldn't be asking wild and scheming Could be my election day Maximum big suprise you know something new I pull my shirt off and pray, we're sacred and bound to suffer this heatwave Pull my shirt off and pray we're coming up on re-election day

That's my man, xpsiter. You know what's up. I used to call myself Lady Ice when I was trading Duran stuff.

That's my man, xpsiter. You know what's up. I used to call myself Lady Ice when I was trading Duran stuff. That song is so hypnotic, it's unreal. It's amazing the whole project was mostly slept on. Lady Ice, huh, Vinablue? Hmm...I couldn't have gone with being called El Diablo or anything like that, so I just kept that tape going and going and going... I am MrVictor....

I loved this song but LeBon never sounded whiny-er than on this one "Climb in my fur."

I play that song literally on Election Day, even though it's not about that literally. I've worn that tape out. Need to order another one, if its not already out of print. I liked "Goodbye is Forever" as well. Whine and all. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!
"It's just my imagination, once again running away with me."

I just put "so red the rose" in google and found some places you can buy it online.
I have the cd, lp, and a video documentary. The video is the making of their videos, "Election Day", "Goodbye is Forever", "The Flame", "The Promise" and "Missing". Very cool behind the scenes stuff. You can get a really cool cd of all their remixes here: www.duran2.net Click on "big store" or "For Sale"

Oh COME ON!
Arcadia was Duran minus the power station boys. It was just Simon getting jealous because BANG A GONG kicked SO MUCH wicked ass. I mean, come on, Election Day vs. Bang A Gong, or Some Like It Hot, or Harvest For the Wolrd, of Still In Your Heart... The POWER STATION RULES! Arcadia was just something for the remainders of Duran Duran to do while Power Station DOMINATED the air waves. Arcadia sounded JUST LIKE Duran Duran. Ain't saying that's a BAD thing, but Power Station sounded NOTHING like anything else at that time. And before you jump me on this - Robert Palmer released Addicted to Love AFTER the Power Station. NYAAH! [This message was edited Sun May 18 8:22:11 PDT 2003 by otan] The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3
