Let's be honest, the man can't rap. His flow is awful and his subject matter is stupid. He brags about being shot nine times. Let's hope the tenth bullet finds it's mark.

I won't deny the man his talent, but I think he's 99.9% hype, and .1% actual goods. That doesn't mean he's not talented - it just means you can't see it for all the hype.

While I could hardly judge who has "rapping skillz" & who doesn't..

50 Cent's talent level is definitely closer to

2 cents

than to a dollar.


He is simply more proof that there's a LARGE audience of consumers who can listen to ANYTHING & think it's good..

the "dumbing down" of musical taste continues, & 50 cent has taken his place (for 15 minutes, of course) at the head of this parade..


LONG LIVE REAL MUSIC by REAL MUSICIANS & SINGERS who have the TALENT & "creativity" to make something worth listening to.

Oh come on...You've got to commend Eminem for employing that boy...being that he sounds like he's got down sydrome and all...nice to know rap doesn't discriminate against those w/ obvious mental disabilities.

What you fail to realize is 50 has charisma. That can take you farther than talent ever will. I have seen it time and time again. Do you seriously think no one produce, write or play instruments better than Prince himself? But that isn't what carries him over the top. He is a whole package. A marketing goldmine. The same with many other artist. Its not so much talent, but can they sell you to the general public. 50 singing so much about getting shot draws people in to remind them of 2pac. It also gives him street cred.

I was just gonna post something about him. I don't see what's so special about him. I like the music, but his rapping skills are not spectacular

I like 50 cents, he flows good with the stuff he raps about. I prefer his mainstream hits than another...... yup!!!
