New Sugar Ray CD due on June 3!

I don't know how many Sugar Ray fans we have on this site, but I love this band. They always come out with catchy,hook-filled singles that sound so good on the radio.Remember past hits like "Someday","Every Morning" and "When It's Over"?

The new CD is titled 'In The Pursuit Of Leisure' and this is the tracklist...

"Chasin' You Around"
"Is She Really Going Out With Him?"
"Heaven"
"Bring Me The Head Of..."
"Mr. Bartender (It's So Easy)" (first single)
"Can't Start"
"Photograph Of You"
"56 Hope Rd."
"Whatever We Are"
"She's Different"
"In Through The Doggie Door"
"Blues From A Gun"

Can't wait to get my hands on this CD smile

Yeah. They're all pretty much interchangeable.

I agree, their music is lightweight.I guess I like them as a sort of "guilty pleasure" type of thing wink

Many people thought they would be gone after their big mid-90s hit "Fly".That's why they titled their next CD "14:59"...you know,as in 15 minutes of fame...lol...

They're the longest "15 minutes of fame" rock band I've ever seen. Even Smash Mouth fell off after a while.

Covering Joe Jackson now, are they? They better not mess up Is She Really Going Out With Him! Actually, I have to admit, I rather enjoy their inoffensive brand of pop-rock, lightweight as it may be, and I have their last two albums.

I think Smash Mouth is still out there trying too.

Sugar Ray used to be a thrash band. The dangling carrot of the pop world was too much temptation for them.

Actually...no! I TOTALLY AGREE WITH SUPERNOVA. They had it, WERE 'IT', lost 'IT', went shIT...
Shame, cuz I got in2 them back in '95 around the time they'd just released 'Lemonade & Brownies' Man, WHAT and album - (WHAT A COVER!!! Even made ME all hot 'n' bothered!) lol

They were amazing back then, their gigs were a full-on party (im sure they still kick ass live) but after Floored - they hit dirt fast 4 me. They lost their edge, and seemed 2 find a safe little niche market in American jock teens. WHAT a waste of a band disbelief

Click here 2 check out how good they USED 2 be!

Still - I'd like 2 believe that each album they release will see em back on course...so I will check it out, but wont be holding my breath... ill

I seen Sugar Ray live BEFORE Fly was a huge hit and they ROCKED. Then they got a hit and they just get weaker and weaker and weaker. "Floored" is an awesome album however.
Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

TRUST ME David, u will see them in a totally different light! They rocked like a bitch, and they could still play a funky tune when they wanted = best of both worlds.
ORG NOTE ME WHEN U HAVE BOUGHT IT, HEARD IT, LIKED IT! lol

By the way - that album cover 4 Lemonade & brownies caused loads of controversy at the time - and got them loads of publicity 2.
Unfortunately, that was the best pic of it I could find on the net - wait until u see it up close and 'personal' wink
