Last thang I heard from the sistah is that she sang a # in Norman Brown's new LP "Just Chillin" and thats it.

Her son is working as producer/writer in Chaka Khan's label "Earth Song" and rumor has it that she may contribute in CK's upcoming LP(eather backing-up or singing a duet).

I was listening her Best Of collection and homegirl need to bounce back and make some killer joints like "Crazy" and "Come Share My Love". A jazz LP would be it!

I remember in the mid-90s,she retired from making music.She was disappointed that her 1992 album flopped (the one that contained the minor hit "Ain't Nobody Like You"),and she seemed pissed off.

She didn't stop making music! she released an Independent LP in 97 which features a smoking cover of Stevie Wonder's "I Love Everything About You" featuring Chaka Khan & TDD.

After that she released "4 wishs" in 2001 and after that she recorded another indie LP which should be last year and it was a Jazz LP.

Miki is doing the backstage thang but I just wanna know what she's up 2 these days.

BTW check her killer joint with Norman Brown in the "Just Chilling" LP,,,I 4got its title,,its the last song in the record.

Oh,she obviously changed her mind...lol...but I do remember reading an interview in USA Today,where she was announcing her retirement.She said that she would still do live dates,but had no plans to make any more albums.This was in 1993,and as you pointed out,she clearly had a change of heart.
