What is your current go-to album besides Prince these days?

Mine is what I consider Heart's REAL comeback album "Red Velvet Car" from 2010. Love every song on it. I think Heart's albums were hit or miss after "Bebe Le Strange" in 1980. "Red Velvet Car" to me was the real comeback to how Heart should sound. Too bad it was never put out on vinyl. Going to see them one last time this fall. cool What is your current go-to album besides Prince?

I really like that new Justin Timberlake album. And when I say I really like it, I mean that I really like about 10 songs on it. The rest aren't good at all. But 10 good songs is enough.

For some reason I've been listening to a lot of Bon Jovi lately and I'm up to Slippery When Wet. That album is just perfect from start to finish.

Last Prince music in my rotation was the remastered Diamonds and Pearls Vault Discs II and III. I'm rotating among the vastness of Sananda Maitreya's Prometheus & Pandora trilogy albums' songs, otherwise.

I don't have a go-to besides Prince.

I'm feel like an ADHD child just bouncing between genres and songs every day.

Not so much albums either, unless they're dispersed amongst many playlists.

That's a great pick! I definitely hear a return to classic Heart on 'Red Velvet Car.' 'Hey You' is such a catchy tune. love tester

The last new album I remember playing repeatedly because I was so in love with it was Clara Luciani's 2021 French nu-disco masterpiece, Cœur.

"Respire encore" (official video)

"Cœur" (official video)

"Amour toujours" (official video)

I would like to add the Bon Jovi album "These Days" to the above list. Rock music wouldn't normally be my kind of thing but I'm loving this Bon Jovi journey I'm on.

Hopefully we can expect the same treatment for the rest of their catalog. Too many of these albums are criminally out of print.

I love the new Bruce Springsteen release with live songs from the Born in the USA tour... bit of a guilty pleasure, but same vintage as Purple Rain biggrin

Also "Mood Swings" by Marcus King - what a voice...
