thanks for this ill confess, i love sweet thing, hollywood, stay, and some of the solo stuff like through the fire but i dont know that much else. i feel like shes someone with a great voice, but you have to sift through her albums for the gems, so im gonna check more of her stuff out. |

Produced with Prince,1998's Come 2 My House is a solid album...one of Chaka's best.I really like the title track and the last song "The Drama"

I love CK but goddam that was crazy with Sia's big ass head almost hitting CK in the face with the mic, the vibe was wild and chaotic. I enjoyed Common doing the I Feel For You rap but the other guests.... eh. Her acceptance/induction was cute af too "

Chaka & Bruce Hornsby doing "Love Me Still" is absolutely magical. Her delivery of these poignant lyrics are an absolute masterclass in how to pull on the heart strings. I love this song. |

Chaka has a lot of albums in the can going back to the 90s. I would be more interested in hearing all of the vault material she has rather than anything new. Hello Happiness was a huge disappointment for me. I have heard some unreleased material from her 80s albums that the world needs to hear. Not sure why she is sitting on those treasures.
