Today I'm going with Eddie Hazel - "Games, Dames & Guitar Things" and back to Funkadelic "Let's take it to the stage". This book is very straight forward and no frills but I like having a players list for all this P! I had considered making a spreadsheet with this info in the past but I realized that the liner notes and online info was all over the place, this book is a godsend for me!
Anyone else had a chance to check it out yet? Impressions? What albums are you focusing on?

Off topic, but I just recently discovered this. The first episode I listened to was with Choc'lat from Graham Central (very interesting) and I've been digging these ever since...

Ok well DAMN I'm gonna have to do the same. Might not be a bad way to spend some downtime during the holidays. Readiing this book while listening to classic PFunk sounds all right to me...

Got my copy over the weekend. Listened to Stretching Out, Cosmic Slop, and Funkentelechy while reading and straight to YouTube after.
Didn't know that's Sly at the intro of Pumping It Up. Didn't know that a Parliament version of "Loose Booty" existed (but I still prefer the official Funkadelic version). So much interesting info...
This book is an amazing reference guide to have. Great resource for P-Funk like PrinceVault is for Prince fans.
