how long has it been now?

perhaps this trilogy will finally be complete when the 1st part reaches it's 20th anniversary?

i'm sort of over maxwell. yet each of his albums, even part 1 and 2 of this trilogy have some
amazing tracks, so i have to keep checking.

i hope that once he gets this decade long gestating nut out he will release a quick succesion
of more loose, breathy albums.

"Better With Time" reminds me about a song written about a grandma or your oldest best buddy or mentor, LOL. It's a sweet sentiment that could make you smile if yr susceptible. Anyway, Maxwell surely respects Prince--he shouts him out when he can during his shows.

I'll take what Maxwell gives when he's ready to bring it. He's a fine artist and I don't think has presented a thing that rings false or off in some sort of way. That's the way it should be, IMO.

The fuck is he even doing otherwise?? Reminds me of Peter Gabriel or similar, where they're such perfectionists that nothing great comes out in any timely order, and what does just doesn't meet up with prior things. Those first three albums still beat the pants off BLACK and SUMMER'S combined.

I have a feeling once it's out, we'll be able to whittle down all three into one really great 12-13 track album.

I feel the same way, I think we'll be able to cobble that together into one a-ma-zing album.

I agree. He should've had it done, then announced it, and stagged a 3-year release plan. If fucking Beyonce can make an album and visuals for all the songs, then Maxwell's ass can whip together three records, 8 videos, and get 'er done.

I've honestly lost my faith in him. I still listen to Urban Hang Suite on the regular, and most of Embrya, too. Now gets a spin now and again. I love unplugged. I used to make love to my now-ex with that in the background.

But with BSN, I'm just indifferent. It pains me to say any of that, because I fucking love that guy's music, his style, his swagger. Now, I've mostly moved on. I will still listen to NIGHT when it shows up in 2075.
