I agree it's Bobby, on the strength of the song alone. They both have/had character issues and I'll leave it at that.

I honestly never got the hype around Jodeci. Their "runs," their dry ass voices - someone give them some water and wash the yak out of their moufs!

Bobby Womack. I enjoy a good cover as much as the next one, but there’s not really much difference in the songs. For me to rate a cover over an original, it has to be quite different in some form. Like Stevie’s version of “We Can Work It Out”, or Whitney’s version of “I Will Always Love You”.

Most covers are just modern-sounding updates done in tribute. Which I’m cool with, I enjoy lots of covers of all different artists and genres.
