I saw Cameo live back in the late 70s. An absolutely incredible show with GREAT singing and musicianship. One of my all time favorite bands through all the different incarnations.

I'm always talking about the summer of '81 and all of the great jams that we had during that time Cameo was riding high with this album and its irresistible single "Freaky Dancin".

I wish I had seen them back in the day.In the summer of 82,Rick James brought his ‘Throwin’ Down’ tour to my area.Cameo and One Way were also on the bill.I hate that I missed that show!!! 1st cassette tape that I ever purchased (saved up 2 weeks of chores money) was Word Up. Loved the album all they way through. * Remember going to the concert, Larry and Tomi came out to the traditional wedding procession (with Larry dressed as the bride) and the band launched in to "Single Life" as Larry ripped off wedding gown to show him wearing the tights and cod piece.
