Normally I would always choose the original but Luther took this song and really made it his own.He was a genius at that.

Yeah, this one is too close to call for me...David Ruffin singing over the great Motown band (The Funk Brothers) vs. possibly the greatest male voice in music history (Luther Vandross)...maybe id take the Motown instrumental track with Luther's vocals...but id feel like i was distespecting the great David Ruffin...i cant pick one or the other
