R.I.P. Andrew Woolfolk

Saxophonist Andrew Woolfolk, who joined Earth, Wind and Fire in 1972 has passed. Woolfolk also played on recordings by Phil Collins, Deniece Williams, Tracie Spencer and a solo album of EWF singer Phillip Bailey.

I'll always remember his amazing sax solo on the live version of "Sun Goddess" on the "Gratitude" album😥

Hate tto hear albout Andrew but he was a staple of EWF's horn section along with

Don Myrick and company known as the Phenix Horns. I saw Phillip Bailey post a picture of him

and Andrew a few weeks ago and he looked totally different. I would have never recognized him

with dreads. RIP

oh yeah.....his sax playing is so hypnotic,all throughout that album.
