You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

P.ORG is slowly dying on the vine, there's not even an Oscars thread in GD. Will had to do it once Jada rolled her eyes, it will overshadow his victory.

Assualt is never ok. The Fresh Simp got all up in his feelings. He didn't have this smoke for August Alsina or 50 Cent. Why didn't he tell Alsina to keep his "D" out of Jada's mouth.

LOL @ all the Will Smith stans (on social media) angry at Chris Rock for disrespecting Jada. Shit, that 304 has been disrespecting Will for years. Strictly for the streets.

Yeah. lol I like Will as a actor but it definitely was a straight dick move on his part. Like you said why didn't have that same energy for August for outing him and his wife. 50 even fucked with him about it. A lot of people on social media said Will knew who to pull the bullshit with. I read Chris didn't plan to file charges.

Will Smith made a fool of himself. As usual. The man is so insecure, it's unreal. I've mentioned this on here before but I think it's worth talking about it again. A friend of mine used to work for the BBC. One time Will Smith was on the Graham Norton show and my friend was tasked with greeting him at the studio. She was a big Will Smith fan so she was pretty excited about it. Until she actually met him. He behaved like a complete prick. Warning producers not to make certain jokes and not to mention some of his recent box office failures. Then threatening not to do the interview at all unless they gave his son a big spot on TV. After it was all done and he was leaving he didn't say goodbye to anyone and threw a little hissy fit when he was told he'd have to walk 50 yards to his car and said something like "I'm the biggest star on the planet and you're making me walk?" or words to that effect.

So yeah, like I said, he's a prick. And something like this was always going to happen. Just so long as the person making the joke is smaller than him. Because he was very fucking quiet it was 50 Cent.

Will Smith is such a fake pussy. First laugh at the joke and then probably got the stink eye from Jada and off he went like the little groveling bitch he is. I wonder if hewould have dared that if it was Dave Chappelle on there. I think Dave would have nocked him out in 1 punch. I hope this slap ends his carrreer.

I agree with you that he should never had done it, his whole reputation was cucked not only by the August Alsina " entanglement " but her bullshit confessions on her web series.

Maybe instead of slapping comedians, who are just there to do there job of making lame jokes at a lame industry dick sucking event, he could for once slap the dicks out of his "wife's" mouth.
Great rolemodels they are, it's no wonder there kids are messed up.
Not to mention tthe hypocrite bad acted complet with fake tears sob speech he did just to suck the corporate dick hoping he won't be cancelled.

If it was a white comedian he slapped he would have been canceled on the spot and they'd be switching that envelope to have someone else go home with that win.

I always loved that line Eminem wrote after WS won an award and proclaimed that he didn't have to use profanity to win awards.

"...but, I do! So FUCK HIM, and FUCK YOU, TOO"

This shit goes on all the time out in the street....brothers winding up in jail or dead defending the honor of women who have none...304s.

Jada probably whispered "August would never let someone disrespect me like that", and Will Simp went up there acting like a tough guy. lol

What for? They still let Mel Gibson & Sean Penn make movies and this is pretty mild compared to some of the things they've done in the past. Chris Brown's new music still gets radio airplay too and he's had recent hit singles. Chris Brown did more than slap Rihanna and he's had several incidents and accusations since then. Alec Baldwin might be over though. There's all kinds of things that happens on movie sets like the LL Cool J/Jamie Foxx fight. It goes all the way back to the studio days with people like Bette Davis. The only difference with Will is that it's televised.

Do you think that if Mel Gibson had marched onto the stage at this year's Oscars and slapped Chris Rock that he would have been allowed to stay?

I don't know. In any case, this is the USA. Mel Gibson & Will Smith getting booted out would have very different reactions from the American public. I think the Oscars organiztion would have a lot more bad press with doing that to Will especially after the "Oscars So White" from a few years ago, than they would with Mel who would be seen as a white guy hitting a black guy. At least with black media. Mel already had a reputation for bad behavior. For the most part Will has a squeaky clean image with the general public. I think that's why a lot of people are shocked in a way they wouldn't have been if Chris Brown slapped Chris Rock. That's totally unexpected behavior from Will. It's like if Mister Rogers got on TV and talked like Richard Pryor. razz Questlove said a little bit about it on Jimmy Fallon last night. He says he's friends with both of them. Will has done several skits on the Tonight Show too.

it doesn't matter if it was mild or not, I don't watch Sean Penn or Mel Gibson movies and didn't see them use any physical violence on anyone like Will Smith did.
Physical violence should be dealt with ASAP, and what better way then to hit him where it hurts the most by ending his career and taking that Oscar from him (won't happen because Hollywood loves there pedohiles, abusers and rapists so this slap is indeed mild for there standards.)

If this was the case there wouldn't be NFL, NBA, MLB, etc. Pro athletes fight all the time during games. The fights sometimes get replayed on local news broadcasts. At most they might get a fine or suspended from a few games. Neither necessarily happens, and their career doesn't end. Lots of people, including actors, watch boxing & MMA, which are basically 2 people beating up each other for millions of dollars. I also find it ironic that the Oscars put out a statement that they don't support violence, when much of Hollywood product is violent. There's also the case that reality shows like the different Housewives of Whereever & Bad Girls Club have been big hits, when the audience watches it for the fights. Same with different daytime talk shows. Jerry Springer was on the air for close to 30 years. There's also all of the schoolyard & club videos of people fighting. They were all over Worldstar Hip Hop and Youtube too. So it doesn't make much sense to me that Will get cancelled and no one else is. Until recently R. Kelly was still promoted by the industry and the general public still bought his music. When it was widely reported at the time that he & Aaliyah was married. It wasn't like some accusations that came out decades after they were said to have happened like with Bill Cosby. Singers & rappers continued to work with Kelly and his career was not shut down.

Hopefully the public will decide against him with there wallets.
Just stop supporting him and paying for his 'Entrtainment' and he'll eventually fade away.
It also wouldn't surprise me if people are now hesitant to work with him, given his new reputation of being a man-child, just to protect there own careers, I know I wouldn't work with him if I were in that business.

Maybe it's not a large amount of the public, but some people still pay O.J. Simpson for autographs or items he signed
