They are okay. They don't release a lot of titles I would be interested in. They are not churning out R&B titles like Funkytown and Big Break used to. There are still a lot of 70s and 80s albums that have yet to see the light of day on CD or digitally. I guess Covid, licensing and lack of interest on a lot of fronts have really slowed things down significantly. confused sad

Stopped watching tv a while ago but these would always make me think about it...then I think "you already have most of this, WTF are you doing?"

The Ginsu knives too, like why do I need a knife that can cut thru a can and then a tomato? When would I need that kind of diversity in my cutlerly?

Amazing to see Debbie Gibson, who not only got the huge box set treatment a few years ago, has just had a deluxe edition of her OK selling "Anything is possible" album recently. It's a good album in spots if you like that era of teen pop like I do...I guess labels will keep going with an artists catalogue until the sales dry up....

Well, Universal Japan will be back at it again in June with some more CD reissues of titles already out there. However, there are two titles of note. Roberta Flack's "Bustin Loose" will make its CD debut. Also, Minnie Riperton's "Stay In Love" will finally be back in print. Dont know if it will be a remaster from the original Japan pressing or not.

speaking of Minnie Riperton…that 2-disc ‘Perfect Angel’ set that came out several years ago is absolutely incredible. The second disc contains some really great extended versions that were previously unreleased. On these tracks, you can even hear more of Stevie Wonder’s contributions.I get chills listening to these versions.

Just bought Sly And The Family Stone's album There's A Riot Going On today at Best Buy.

I had a Best Buy gift card from christmas I forgot all about and used it. I ordered online and

2 stores in my area had 1 copy for pickup. I didn't even realize until I got it home it was a special

edition red vinyl 180 gram copy. Love the album.

Don't laugh at my funk

Iconoclassic's B.T. Express Reissue to Keep Disco Fans "Satisfied"

Iconoclassic's B.T. Expre...econd Disc

BT Express Do It Til Youre Satsified

B.T. Express is rolling into the station! On May 27, 2022, Iconoclassic Records will board the train to the intersection of R&B, soul, funk, and disco with a definitive reissue of the band's 1974 debut Do It ('Til You're Satisfied). Despite the fact that the album scored mightily on the Billboard charts, reaching No. 1 R&B and the top five of the Pop survey, it's long lacked a proper CD reissue with the original artwork, proper sequence, and full-length audio. That all changes with Iconoclassic's reissue, a fitting tribute to a group that earned ten R&B chart entries (including two No. 1s) and five Pop hits.

  1. Express (Tom Moulton Disco Mix)
  2. If It Don't Turn You On (You Oughta' Leave It Alone) (full-length LP version)
  3. Once You Get It
  4. Everything Good to You (Ain't Always Good for You)
  5. Mental Telepathy
  6. Do It ('Til You're Satisfied) (Tom Moulton Disco Remix)
  7. Do You Like It (full-length LP version)
  8. That's What I Want for You Baby (full-length LP version)
  9. This House is Smokin'
  10. Express (Single Version)
  11. Do It ('Til You're Satisfied) (Single Version)
