absolute rubbish. has destroyed her face. never thought she'd go the hideous surgery route and the audience fawning over some of the worst music she's ever made.I will stick to my Confessions Tour DVD.

Having seen the show twice live, I have to say that I don't think it recreates the live experience. If you are looking for a good concert film, look elsewhere. However, I think it's a good concept film, and that's what Madonna is presenting it as. It really does get her message across, as overbearing as it may seem.
There are flaws (poor footage, that damn vocoder) but I have to say that it put a smile on me when it was finished. I'm glad I watched it, and it's far more worthwhile than any "film" she's put out in the past ten years.

Yeezus. Kanye West produced Holy Water.
I thought it was the best performance in the whole show...the choreography was amazing. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Probably right. That tour was boring. When I saw it in Manchester there was no atmosphere. She cut the show short and had a go at the audience for booing her before she came on. Total disaster.
At least with Madame X I felt I was seeing something new. 3121... Don't U Wanna Come?

Rebel heart is her worst album ever, I only like 3 songs on it. I saw another artist instead of her the night she came here for rebel heart

Re: Appropriation. Madonna is NOT the same as Elvis. She always gives credit to the cultures she “steals from.” Back in the 1980s, she hired mostly Black and Latino musicians when others weren’t. In terms of Vogue, she’s always accused of “stealing” it, but she always gave credit to its originators. In fact, the originators helped her create the video and performances. She does go overboard, but she should be praised for constantly promoting diversity rather than having to “face a consequence.” Elvis is on a whole different level.

Exactly, if anything, she’s brought trends in those communities to the forefront. The singers on batuka even toured with her

I saw another artist instead of her the night she came here for rebel heart Ironically the Rebel Heart album is one of my favourites from her later years, I just felt the tour lacked any theme or concept and didn’t flow like her other shows do. After the MDNA tour is was a massive disappointment and further proof she needs to ditch Jamie King and Kevin Antunes and get a fresh creative team. I was hoping the theatre tour would completely reinvent her live show format but I felt it was just an arena show downsized. 3121... Don't U Wanna Come?

I thought Rebel Heart was more a mixed bag. Some standout tunes Living For Love, Holy Water, Heartbreak City.
Next to some terrible ones B* I'm Madonna, Iconic, Illuminati.
It was like she was trying to be relevant on top of actually coming out with some well crafted tunes worthy of her category. The album also just had too many songs on it.

I always like Madonna for putting on new songs on her shows and not make it a greatest hits thing. Even Prince didn't do that. I enjoyed her show, don't think it's the best, but at least she's not doing the same thing over and over again.

In all fairness, her prices are ridiculous. Will this be on Netflix at any point?

In all fairness, her prices are ridiculous. Will this be on Netflix at any point? I agree.I always have a great time at her shows but the high ticket prices are annoying, lol. Not sure if it will be on Netflix.I just used the free trial at Paramount. It will eventually make its way to DVD and blu-Ray.

I fell out of touch with Madonna around Hard Candy and have never regained it. I don't really get her POV anymore. And yeah I mean, though they may be good songs in there, the song titles and lyrics are so FUCKING cringey. I'm more embarrassed to play recent Madonna music in my car with the windows down than I am anything else.
