I prefer Curtis´s solo version on his own album over any other version. It was really cool when Prince started some of his aftershows during the Gold era with a brief version of this song....just the first few lines as an intro. I wish he had done a longer rendition. Maybe Count the Days was inspired by this? But I´m just speculating here. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?" | |
