oops...sorry. the last CD single i bought was probably Gett Off in 91.

Why that one? Was that his lead single? I can't remember.

I think so...I remember loving it and playing the hell out of it. But now thinking of it...I bought a few CD singles in the early 90s...Pearl Jam had one that had Yellow Ledbetter on it, and it was the only way to get that song (still my fave PJ song). Also have Gold with Rock N Roll is Alive on it. That was probably the last one.

Maybe we shouldn't be so surprised we didn't buy CD *singles* after Napster. neutral

I think there was a remix that I could not get a nice clear download of and I really wanted to "own" as a fan - :*:TLC "Unpretty (Don't Look Any Further Remix)"star because of course I already had FanMail, but it wasn't on there.

Maybe, but depends how one collected music. I was still buying Madonna and Janet singles well after Napster and Kazaa.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Funny you bring Madonna up. Remember when she sent out "What the fuck do you think you're doing" labelled as "American Life" on file sharing? lol (so that might have been one of the later NEW singles I bought on CD.)

Edit: This was the first (?) and probably last (?) cassingle I bought....at least as far as I recall. But I have bought some old second hand 45s and maxi singles since then. But as far as cassingles go, this is the only one I remember buying.

I do remember that. One of my bottom 3 M albums, btw.

I have the Weird Al version of this. It wasn't a single, but I have the album it's on. I recently watched a reaction video for the original song. smile

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

The sight of this has been on my mind since you posted it. Damn, the price is worth it for "I Love U In Me" alone, but then I realized "Insatiable" was my favourite on D&P too.
