Yes it is.

Definitely running out of shows. They are also bringing back Behind The music too I heard Huey Lewis is supposed to be one of the first ones though they had one that was almost two decades ago, but even BTM was running low on interesting stuff.

FINALLY The Jones Girls and Keith Washington. Long overdue! Two acts who definately have the criteria as being Unsung! Leela James, also.

I interviewed Leela James long ago. She's a delightful woman.

That's just it.

Not many people have.

He started out in the 90's with a boy group called Mista. As far as I know they had a song

called Blackberry Molasses that got some airplay. He grew up and went solo in the mid 2000's.

I remember barely he had a hit called Slow Down on his debut album. He came out with more material after that but I don't recall anything memorable.

I don't blame her. Stephanie is hardly Unsung. Highly successful career in R&B all through the 80s.

Neither is 95% of the acts that have Unsung episodes. Such as Wayne Brady.

He has one. He's in no way Unsung, Wayne is as mainstream as you can get. He's on TV every weekday on Let's Make A Deal. I think some performers turn down the show because Unsung tends to be about dirt & gossip more than the music, same for Behind The Music on MTV. There's other places that is more about the music like Questlove Supreme, although it's only audio, no video. Stephanie Mills did go on Questlove's show. A really interesting episode was Steve Miller. Even Randy Jackson (of The Jacksons, not the American Idol one) went on Questlove Supreme and he's rarely seen.

I have got to find a way to watch the Jones Girls episode. I have seen some snippets. I had no idea there was so much dysfunction and fighting going on amongst them.
