Bob Marley - 40 years gone It's been 40 years since we lost the great Bob Marley. I remember where I was when I heard the news. I cried as I was just beginning to know his music and learning about his impact in the world. Bob's viewpoints on racism, love and freedom made him and his music unforgettable. He was an advocate for human rights, poverty and fighter of western oppression. Long live Bob!!

Has anyone read A Brief History of Seven Killings by Marlon James? It's a bit of a tough read (as are all of James' books), but very interesting.

Bob was special. That word is used way to often to describe mediocre thinkers or talents in todays age but by definition ("better, greater, or otherwise different from what is usual.") he was it. He made the world a little better place. [Edited 5/11/21 10:42am]

No matter where you travel in the world, you will always hear Bob Marley somewhere. He was truly a world star, more than anybody else. RIP. If you take any of this seriously, you're a bigger fool than I am.
