What Vinyl/CD ya listening to? 2021 Parte Dos Let's see your setup. Upload pics here!
https://imgbb.com/ Parte Uno: https://prince.org/msg/8/465716 - - - Good evening! Phase - III - The Osmond. MGM records in 1971. Found this a couple of weeks ago. I used to watch the Donny & Marie show in the early 80s. I'm guessing this is their third album. I know Andy Williams discovered them as kids and put them on his show. Wiki: Phase III is the third studio album๐ by the American singing group The Osmonds, released in 1972. The album reached number ten on the Billboard Top LPs chart on March 11, 1972. Two singles released from the album, "Yo-Yo" and "Down by the Lazy River", reached No. 3[5] and No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, respectively. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA on May 29, 1972. I'm not familiar with these songs. I'm guessing Donny Osmond is singing on some background and sounds like MJ. Not sure if it was vice versa where MJ sounded like Donny. B+ condition with some pops.. Not in the best of shape, but got another two for one deal. ๐๐๐ The other album is called Osmond which has a song I'm familiar with One bad apple. Osmonds is the debut album released by The Osmonds, the first under MGM as The Osmonds and the first to feature Donny. The first single from the album, "One Bad Apple", became a number-one hit according to the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The second single from the album, "Sweet and Innocent", reached number seven, with the single sleeve crediting group member Donny Osmond as the artist. The album reached number 14 on the Billboard Top Lps chart on February 27, 1971. It was certified Gold by the RIAA on September 13, 1971. Hopefully I can find the second album. Cool Thrifty find. C+ condition _ _ _ [Edited 3/18/21 15:13pm] Just Music-No Categories-Enjoy It!

If you can find Osmondsโ โThe Plan,โ snap it up. It was like their Sgt. Pepper, a theme album about their religious beliefs. The songs and arrangements are often complex and really impressive. Definitely not the bubble gum pop they were known for.

I'm listening to Chaka Khan and Rufus on vinyl on my "new" 70s sound system I just got off Ebay and Wow! does it make the records pop! The first sound system I've owned since the early 80s. A Technics SL-23 turntable, an RCA receiver, and KLH speakers all made in Japan. Sounds wonderful!

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit whoโs never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Nice to see a real Lenny fan on this site. He's one of my favourite musicians. Have you listened to his latest cd Raise Vibrations? It's one of his best in years - IMHO. I've been listening to it for months on end and still love it.

I've been listening to it for months on end and still love it. He's definitely one of my top ten favs, but Raise Vibrations is the ONLY album of his that I don't have at least one copy of . I think, based on his current vibe, I've been a little afraid to listen, for fear that he has drifted away from his signature style of rock/soul for something more mellow/islandy . I'm sure I'm wrong, haha. If you say it's good, I'll check it out! If you will, so will I
