The Victory Tour is on YT, including the one in Los Angeles where MJ announces it's their last show ever, much to the brother's surprise having heard it for the first time along with the audience.

I love Moonwalker.

I think there is definitely still enough quality material for two to three decent posthumous albums from MJ>

No, but one of The Sylvers does a voice for the J5 cartoon, I think for Marlon. Diana Ross did her own voice for the first episode. The Osmonds did their own voices for their cartoon that was out around the same time and I think both were made by the same company. The Jackson 5ive cartoon was on a dvd/blu ray set a few years ago, the first time it has ever been officially released on home video, but it went out of print. So it might be costly to buy now. I bought it when it came out at Best Buy.

People have uploaded episodes of the show on Youtube, so you can see if you like it. There's only 23 episodes that were made. Tito talks about the cartoon here. The cartoon is also mentioned in The Jacksons Legacy photo book that came out in 2017. The book was put out by the brothers.

I like the cartoon. But I had seen it already because a local channel used to show reruns of it in the 1980s like MTV showed reruns of The Monkees. It's kind of like the typical Saturday morning cartoon of that time. Maybe the Cartoon Network/Nickolodeon generation might find it boring.

What I really want is the variety show. The routine where all of the siblings (- Jermaine) were dancing with the Nicholas Brothers is one of my favorites. Somebody gave me a DVD of the show, but it's bootleg and it has a TV logo from some European TV network on all of the episodes. That's obviously something recorded in modern years because networks didn't have logos on the shows back then. I think that started sometime in the 1990s.

Yeah. In '93/"94ish it was shown on german TV channel Sat 1, which goes to show the starpower of Michael Jackson that a, at this point, almost 20 year old, english language program was shown on german TV.

As a kid, I liked the moonwalker movie, now I find it just weird and the best part of it is the Man in the Mirror performance at the start. I also always liked the ending part with these guys dancing ( i hope you know what part I mean ), I don't know what it has to do with the rest of the movie, but it's incredibly calming.

1.) The movie is more like a bunch of music videos as short films. There's kind of a plot to the movie but it's weak.

2.) That's just MJ's idea of building up the song.

3.) Never watched the animated series. Don't know much about it. Never really had any interest.

4.) No, he didn't make as much as Prince, but he did still make a lot. Prince left a vault. MJ just kind of left things scattered. There's enough material for another couple albums. The most material is probably from the BAD era. There's stuff that the die-hard fan base would LOVE to hear and think is great, but the casual fan wouldn't listen to more than once. And that's the problem as the Estate is more concerned about how they can make the most money and demos that just weren't strong enough to make albums are not among the most money making ventures.

It may be a failure as a movie, but it works as compilation of videos.

The "movie" is something I've watched once. Naturally I liek his music videos tho.

"Smooth Crimina: performance. Only MJ knows. He did some weird thinsg LOL. Never watched the animated series. MJ's vault is said to be mostly incomplete songs. There's believed to be a couple maybe 3 albums worth but I doubt there will be another album...which bums me out. Xscape was great. First single was Top 10 and didn't need Justin Timberflake but second single fizzled so the project had a short shelf life. No way it turned the profit they hoped. 'Tis a shame.

Without looking it up I think the Moonwalker movie and music videos were done BEFORE the BAD album was released because IIRC, MJ went right on Tour after the album was released.

August 31, 1987: BAD released

September 12, 1987: The Bad World Tour starts in Tokyo

October 29, 1988: Moonwalker released

January 27, 1989: The Bad World Tour ends in Los Angeles. (It was delayed due to vocal strains, and a few shows rescheduled, should've ended in 1988 originally)
