"The Love We Make" kinda has an "Earth Song" vibe, so maybe that one. Also, some of the schmaltz like "Arms of Orion" or "Graffiti Bridge" could fit MJ's voice.

His weakest ballads are tailor made for MJ, that's why I'm suggesting Free from 1999. MJ didn't have one great ballad after Rock With You. No, Man In The Mirror has a horrible sound production, yuck. And yes, that goes without saying with Arms Of Orion and Graffiti Bridge. Horrible ballads, perfect for MJ. Edit; Human Nature is great. Other than that, nah! funny you say that, because when Black and White came out as a single, I thought it almost sounded like a more pop bubble gum version of the mode of Alphabet St doubled up and arranged more generic or crowd pleasing. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

the song "Diamonds and Pearls"....it's easy to imagine Micheal singing those lyrics

- Really ? Why not asking which Celine Dion songs could be Slayer's ? - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

IMHO MJ could have sing any damn thing Prince wrote as far as vocal range. Its not like Prince was a powerhouse vocally. As far as lyrical themes, I don't think a lot of Prince's songs are a good fit for Michael. Too personal. Like, how do you think Prince would have fared if he had covered Stranger in Moscow?

Yeah, you're not biased at all, LoL That is exactly what he was, a powerhouse vocally.
