S.O.S. Band looking for female lead singer to fill in for ailing Mary Davis

The SOS Band would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone with overwhelming gratitude for your prayers and well wishes for our beloved Mary Davis.
She is recovering well. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Currently, she must devote her time to healing and recovery, which entails limiting her performance and travel schedule.
This change of events has created a new challenge for the SOS Band. Our focus has always been to bring our fans the best live musical entertainment and we will continue to do so. As the SOS Band continues to support Mary's recovery, we currently are looking for a professional female vocalist to assist in continuing the vocal legacy of lead vocalist, Mary Davis. As so many legendary groups have done, our intent is to find an amazing vocalist similar to the Mary Davis' singing vocalist sound. This talented vocalist will have the ability to step in when needed to continue the SOS Band sound that Mary has created with her amazing voice. If you know of or have a similar singing voice with that Mary Davis/ SOS sound, please send a 2 or 3 minute video covering a SOS Band song as lead vocals thesosbandtalentsearch@gmail.com.
More details to come.

I pray that she continue to recover and be able to perform in the future.

Not sure about them finding a fill in singer. They tried that in the 90's and it

didn't work. neutral

I remember in the early 90s,they had a different lead singer and even had a minor hit,”Sometimes I Wonder”,with her.

I got a 45 from that album called Secret Wish. The song you speak of I can't think of right

Same here, it was a joyful evening and the band and singers were in top form. I am extra glad now to have visited that gig. Hope Mary will recover soon and be able to get back to singing and performing!

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

I pray that Mary gets needed rest and recovers, as she is my all-time fav'rite vocalist on Earth. Without Mary, there IS no S.O.S. Band. The couple of albums from the late 80's/early 90's are AWFUL. I wouldn't even replace her. I would simply wait until she's feeling better and allow her to ease back into the groove. ♥

Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.
