"Every Time You Go Away" - best version? So since it's popular lately to do this, I realized there are a few covers of the Hall & Oates song, "Everytime You Go Away." [Edited 3/2/21 16:33pm] Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Paul Young. . I love his voice and music, he does some great versions of "Oh Girl" by the Chi lites and Marvin Gayes "Whereever I lay my hat, thats my home". . I bought a 5 pack of his albums and at least 4 of them are great. His 1983 debut "No Parlez' is one of the best ever. I got plenty good loving for ya baby

I prefer the Hall & Oates version, though Mr. Young did a very good job #SOCIETYDEFINESU

Never knew it was a hall and Oates song, will have to check it out. I love the song though and performed it a couple of times at events over 10 years ago

It'll always be a Paul Young song to me. Another string to the bow of Hall & Oates though.
