Oh, that Omartian remix of "house of love" sounds kinda cool LOL. Thanks for the video TrivialPursuit

Yeah, I think that wasn't a remix so much as a real option for the album. It sounds totally out of sorts at this point, knowing the mood of the record.

What's interesting is that in the video (either the music video or those behind the scenes things) the song is called "Any Amount of Money." I'm glad they went with "House Of Love." It totally sets a mood.

YAAAAAS! Age to Age is so great. There was a lot of growth on that record. "Got To Let It Go" and "Don't Run Away" are like a great yacht rock type songs. (The male singing is producer Brown Bannister.) "I Love A Lonely Day" has a great melody and story. "Arms of Love" is so beautiful. I used to be able to play it on the piano. It's a tough song. I think the songbook had it transposed into a slightly easier key, which makes me wonder how hard the original was to play. "Sing Your Praise To The Lord" starts with a piano intro based on J.S. Bach's "Fugue No. 2 in C Minor" from The Well Tempered Clavier, Book 1. I loved that. It was written by the late great Rich Mullins. And who could hate "Fat Baby?" The album sold over 1M copies which was huge for a female Christian artist in 1982. So many great songs on that. It's like a comfy quilt.

Future Christian singer-turned-pop artist (sounding like Taylor Dayne) Kathy Triccoli sings on the record and co-wrote "Raining On The Inside."

There are different configurations of The Collection, depending on the format. LP has fewer songs than the cassette, but the CD has more than both. "Ageless Medley" is fun.

It was a strange coincidence that I found those was just go home and changed my mind and went. Got so much 80s stuff that I used to own. Too bad they didn't have the baby baby record haha. I'll listen to the this weekend. I use to own the collection on CD. She looks so beautiful in the middle album. Stunning looking lady anyway.

I had a huge crush on the guy in the "Baby Baby" and "Good For Me" videos. *sigh*

Great album, very catchy songs and I still listen to it regularly.

Just like the white winged dove...
