Stevie wonder decade preference. 60s, 70s or 80s? I know this might sound like a dumb question for some because everyone of all ages are aware of his classic period of the 70s from 72-76 but I've been listening to Stevie Wonder non stop today and his 60s work is amazing. His 80s work is hard to sit through though 🤣. But honestly I'm going with the 60s era for Stevie Wonder. What about you?

70s. He released amazing albums then, my favourites are innervisions and songs in the key of life

the NINETEEN SEVENTIES, obviously. . Stevie effortlessly (seemingly) put out some good music in the 60's.. but in the 1970s Stevie took his music to an entire, much higher level . he made a sufficient amount of very good music in the 80s but his masterful music of the 70s that body of work stands on its own & stands comparably against the best work over any period for any artist or group I'll see you tonight..

Artistically, 70’s, but it was the 80’s I think he was at his all-around best. He had amassed a HUGE catalog of hits, he was touring non-stop, still releasing tons of great music, writing tons of music for others, and his voice had matured into a surreal, amazing vocal machine. He was always giving three-hour, 30-song setlists with one of the greatest backing bands I’ve heard. [Edited 1/19/21 12:45pm]

Last time I saw Stevie perform in 2014, he did the entire Songs In The Key Of Life album...and still came back for more. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato
