Is crazy too because I'm a few years younger than Michael Jackson. Damn... Growing up during his era the 70s and 80s. That alone is a once in a lifetime moment that will never happen again.

So, top to bottom:

1. Dangerous - it's so rich and full; the whole first side is an album unto itself, but the second side is so great
2. Thriller - a classic front to back
3. Bad - My only fault for this album is the vocals being sped up here and there. I do have an original LP with the first mixes. It was greatly altered as time went on, with 7" remixes, etc. being inserted, and other production added
4. Off The Wall - Yeah, it's a very nice record, but sorta ...I don't know. It's like a precursor to bigger things, but I respect fan's love for this album
5. Blood On The Dance Floor / HIStory - I really like the 5 new songs and the "Scream" remix on BOTDF, so that solidfies it for me; A lot, not all, of the remixes are nice on there. Tough to rate a remix album with 5 new tracks.
6. Xscape - a good piece of MJ history, about half the re-dos were well done.
7. Invincible - it felt overproduced, overreaching (even for MJ), and dare I say desperate in some fashion.

‘Off The Wall’ is MJ’s best album.

I don't consider Michael (2010) or Xcape (2014) to be proper MJ albums since they were released after his death, plus some of those tracks don't sound like MJ!

Also, I think it's kind of funny how in every single thread you like to point out how great you have it because you were born so long ago. Like, every single thread, you mention this. Anyway, here's my list. I'm only going to list his bigger albums because all the others would be below these anyway.

1. Thriller
Almost perfect but for the fact Paul Mccartney is on it. But other than that, the perfect pop album.

2. Off The Wall
Love the disco vibe

3. Bad
Somehow both underrated and overrated by different fans but I like it. Didn't reinvent the wheel but a classic nevertheless.

4. Invincible
A few duds but I really like the album as a whole.

5. Dangerous
Some great songs on here but I don't like the whole new jack swing sound.

6. History
Any album that features both You Are Not Alone and Earth Song will always come in last place for me but it does have its moments. Not a bad album by any stretch of the imagination.

Too hard. All of them are great. And there are no huge up and downs. Well, maybe between Motown and Epic, but both are on a high level, with the main distinction that one is sung by a child who was told what to sing and the other by a grown up who was in control. Among the Epic ones the only one that stands out as being not that great is Invincible.

Post-Thriller, Michael's music didn't grab me like before.

'Thriller' was more commercially successful, but 'Off the Wall' is Michael bringing the dance and the funk.

Of the albums he released as an adult beginning with "Off The Wall", my favorites from best to worst are the order in which they were released. As for "Invincible", oh hell naw! I didn't even buy that mess.

My favorite songs are the ones under the name The Jacksons but as far as albums goes, I guess the first would be "Triumph", then "Destiny", "Goin' Places", "The Jacksons", and "Victory". They can keep that damn "2300 Jackson Street" though.

Michael had better full albums than when he was with his brothers but as for particular songs, songs like "Lovely One", "Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)", "Walk Right Now", "Heartbreak Hotel", "The Things I Do For You", and "Blame It On The Boogie", stomp all over most of Michael's solo stuff which had more pop in it. But the problem with some of The Jacksons albums, is there were too many slow songs on some of them.

Just reading your comment about Michael Jackson's albums just makes me a little sad on how his career went... Weird after Thriller. How did he go from as one of the most respected artist's of the 70s - 84 and then here comes 1987-2009... His legacy was tarnished. Is a real shame.

The first time I noticed he wasn't playing with a full deck was when I bought the "Moonwalker" VHS tape. He was running around playing with these kids and it wasn't like an adult such as a father or older brother playing with relatives. It was like he was on their level and was one of them himself. No, I didn't get the impression he was molesting them but I was like, oh HELL naw! He looks like a damn loony toon. This is TOTALLY uncool. I was about 19 or 20 myself so as a young adult, rebellion and thinking your a badass adult looks more cool to you than anything else so anything childlike is the absolute definition of uncool to you during those years.
