Some nicer, slightly less predictable bits during the latter part of the song. Otherwise, sounds like by-the-book Babyface to me. That is to say...OK.

Boring, but so is most of Babyface's music. Just like the white winged dove...

It doesn't sound bad. The last time I really listen to Face is The Day album. This sounds less like a Jam&Lewis production and more like just Babyface but back in the day.

Babyface is great, both as an artist and songwriter. Tevin Campbell? Boys II Men? Braxton? MJ? Jermaine? Whitney? Shanice? Luther? He’s had a ton of truly great songs. You people are on THE CRACK, lol.

Big fan of both, but the song is just ok. I sort of hear a Toni Braxton vibe as well, her background vocals would have worked better for the song I submitted some r&b ballads I wrote and recorded to flyte tyme, does anyone have a connection to them so I could follow up?

Here's the music video You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
