The only one of those types of sites I've joined was Myspace. When I had it, Terence Trent D'Arby left a comment on my page.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Not the exact words. Something about exercising, There was one other person who left comments a few times. It was the lead singer of a group called Break Reform. Her name is Nanar. I had bought their album at the time, still have it. But haven't listened to it in years. I also have a remix album they released. I just thought about it after posting the Sananda comment.

Rosie O Donnell liked one of my comments, she released two Xmas albums. I don’t really follow many singers, mostly film critics, cinephiles, actors, authors, activists and Video Game youtubers like The Completionist.

Once on Facebook yearrrs ago I asked Joe Henry on a whim if he could convince Madonna to record a rock/folk album and he replied simply "I'm ready whenever the Queen is ready" which I thought was the best reply. "Guilty By Association" is one of my favorite M features.

On twitter Jim Lang liked my comment about how his music elevated the already great series to another higher ground, the series of course the great Hey Arnold, and he made such a wonderful score for it. And Alvaro Medran a spanish soccer player, on istagram he told to stpo asking him for dick, that he wasn't gay and called me bitch.

Wendy and Lisa have, and I used to chat with Lisa's ex Renata. Super cool gal. When I bought a vinyl copy of White Flags on Winter Chimneys, she sent me the last 8 or so copies and said, "share the wealth." And I did. Lisa once left a message on my Facebook when I pointed out somewhere about how people wrongly say, "I could care less." My argument is, if you could care less, you would, so that means you care, at least, a little, despite your claims. It should be "I couldn't care less," as in you're at the bottom of caring and have nothing to give in way of cares or fucks. She agreed. I screen shot that and saved it. razz

Susannah, St. Paul of course. Steve Parke, Sam Jennings (I think).

Sheryl Underwood, not a music artist, once asked me "what is wrong, baby?" then followed me.

Angie Stone said she liked my energy, and followed me.

Erykah Badu has responded to me.

Sheila E has responsed to me a couple of times, but I don't care at this point. I couldn't care less about her.

I think Omar Baker replied once for something. I forget off hand.

Bonus feature. I've also been blocked by:

Anita Baker (no idea why, since unblocked),

Jill Scott (no idea why),

Janelle Monae (said something about her munching carpet once before she quasi-came out, she got up in her feelings about it, but if she'd just not responsed, she'd not have confirmed what we all knew anyway),

Dawn Robinson (after I called her a coward, and I stand by it),

Boy George (no idea why other than he said if someone didn't light up his feed, they were out; fucking queen),

Taylor Swift (called her the C word once, buy in my defense it was a joke, since unblocked)

Non-music people blocked by:
Kirstie Alley (called her out on Scientology, she didn't enjoy that)

Yvette Nicole Brown (no idea why, i was live tweeting with her about Walking Dead, this one bothers me)

Cindy McCain (I forget why but I'm not suffering for it)

Wendy Williams is a Celebrity! I listened to her radio shows on: Kiss FM(98.7/NY), Hot 97 and WBLS! I read many of her books too!

She played piano when she was a kid! Maybe she still practices?

There was a big brouhaha on MySpace about Van Hunt being a Prince wannabe and I took Van's side. He sent me a DM saying, "thanks man."

Speaking of Van Hunt he is now dating Halle Berry. She let the cat out of the
bag in response to messy Lisa Raye questioning her bedroom skills. :disbelief:

As for the topic I got an email response way back in 2004 during my AOL days
lol from Dawn Robinson when she released her solo album. I wished her success and she was so sweet. She was wondering if we were related sharing the same last name. I've gotten likes and responses from Deborah Cox,Syleena Johnson, Joyce"Fenderella"Irby, Larry Dodson/Barkays, Floyd Miller/Slave, and Ricky Kinchen
the bass player for Mint Condition.

Had to look him up because I didn't know who Van Hunt was. I don't know him, so I wouldn't call him a Prince wannabe, but I definitely get a Prince vibe from him, not his looks, but his sound.
