..and from how it's going, the day Sanjeeta Bhattacharya releases an actual album, that'll probably make it to my list, too...! smile

Quite the task. I haven't a clue how to answer it, NPR did a decent enough list back in 2017

Minnie Riperton - "Come To My Garden"

Arguably one of the best albums ever made, by either genders. Minnie+Charles Stepney = slice of heaven love If there's an album that embodies the expression "dream sequence" perfectly, to me it would be "Come to My Garden".

Minnie! <3

I mentioned "Hounds of Love" for two reasons; "Morning Fog" which happens to be my fave from her, and the fact that like the rest of her albums individually, this one has a particular and distinctive mood that speaks to me. I wouldn't call anything from Kate Bush "overrated" though, c'mon,,,its Kate Bush lol

Another vote for Amy's Back to Black.

I remember when it was first released and every time I listened to it, I fell more in love with each and every song. I still listen to the entire album frequently. I got all my friends hooked on it too.

Amy was an old soul. It's sad to think of all of the music that died with her.
