Some of you might be too young to know about this album biggrin but it's a classic! Every song is superb. Many of these songs were covered by other artists.

Tapestry Original recording remastered, Extra tracks Edition by Carole King (1999) Audio CD

Don’t hate my guts, but I never could get passed Carole King’s voice, it has always been grating to me. I love other artists’ readings of her voice a lot though.

Aretha Franklin did an incredible remake of "You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman)".

apparently she did such an incredible job that up until now, i always assumed Aretha wrote and sang that song as her own original composition... i had NO idea that was a Carol King remake

Typically referred to as "When the Pawn....." for obvious reasons. Probably my least favorite of her 5 albums but is still good. Not many can have that title and still go platinum.

Interesting, it's been my favourite album of hers for a long time now.

Honestly, I haven't heard it in years. She has set the bar so high that all of them are really good it is a bit like saying this is the worst Crystal. I will give it another listen.
