iNew Seal Album!

Just seen this news...

Seal is on the comeback trail, with a new album coming out on the 14th of July, called...'Seal'. Seal, who's real name is Seal-Henry Samuel (incidently an anagram of 'a smelly anus here' anagram fans) will also be bringing out a single on the 30th of June called 'Get It Together'.

This is Seal's first album since 'Human Being' in 1998, and is being produced by Trevor Horn.

Seal had a No.1 in the early 90's with 'Killer', but it was actually an Adamski track rather than a Seal track. Jealous of this, Seal put out his own inferior version, which didn't do quite as well, but at least it was better than George Michael's attempt. The bad skinned one also had a hit with 'Crazy', (not the Patsy Cline tune), and then had a massive international hit with 'Kiss From A Rose' from one of the Batman films, which earned him about three million Grammys. He then swiftly disappeared down the dumper.

That's weird - I thought he'd already had an album called "Seal" that was produced by Trevor Horn!

In fact - yes I've just checked it - released in 1994 featuring Wendy & Lisa !

I'm sorry but that is pretty funny. Prince could have probably gotten some extra sales by naming "The Rainbow Children" "Purple Rain".

Essence

Has he ever explained why he has such a thing for self titled albums? I'd understand it more if he hadn't broken the consistency with "Human Beings". Oh well three out of four isn't bad... biggrin

Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

ha

SEAL can call all his albums "Seal" if he wants to...get over it. biggrin

P.s.: That article you quoted is probably the worst attempt to diss Seal I've ever seen.

W&L have already made it clear that they will never work with Trevor Horn again.
